Big Sky "A" litter
Here is the happy mom...............and the even happier kid, on the day the pups were born

The first litter at Big Sky, was born on May 25, 2005, after a long wait for just the right breeding.  Nine puppies-----eight girls and one boy-----were born to Ch. Highlander's Zoe Cameron D'lux by Ch. Fernhill's Azure JC.  This was an outcross breeding, but we thought that the dogs and their pedigrees would blend well, and so far, we haven't been disappointed.  The pups are all very uniform, with shapely outlines, beautiful heads and ears, nice feet, tails, and coats, and best of all, the marvelous intelligence and temperament of their parents. They have been doing well in the show ring with Group wins and placements, Best of Breed wins, SDCA supported entry wins,  National Specialty placements, and also looking good in the field.  What we love most, though, is their happy go lucky attitude, their wonderful sense of humor, keen intelligence, and athletic ability. Here are some of our favorite puppy pictures, along with some of the great pictures taken by their new owners. I think both puppies and new owners are having fun!!
